Lazy evening dinner with Big Korn Bites

Last night was one of those nights. The week is far too long, the energy is low, and the inspiration even less. Luckily we remembered about Miss Fine's camping trip where they had an easy dinner with packets of chips and chicken nuggets. She was in charge of the instructions last night.


Next time we are doing it with bigger crisp packets. But it worked exceptionally well, and satisfied the carb cravings perfectly.

We made our own version last night. This is great for kids, and kiddies' parties, and lazy lunches and lazy dinners.

Big Korn Bites bag with Chicken-Style Strips


Ingredients:


Packets of Big Korn Bites (or any types of crisps would work)
Fry's Chicken-Style Strips (Vegan)
Raw mushrooms, cut in smaller pieces
Cut tomatoes
Cut salad leaves
Cut cucumber
1 Cup of milk, 1 tablespoon of  flour and 1 teaspoon of salt (white sauce)
Cup of cheddar cheese, grated

Method:


Chop all the vegetables that needs to be chopped.
Make the cheese sauce. We make a normal white sauce (with milk), and add cheddar cheese when it's finished.
Fry the Fry's Chicken-Style Strips  following the directions on the packet.
Crush the Big Korn Bites packets before opening it.
Add all the cut vegetables and the Fry's strips.
Cover with cheese sauce.
Eat with a fork!

Notes: Of course you can make it with normal chicken strips or pieces.
Onions, green onions, coriander leaves or rocket leaves would make a nice compliment to this.
