February is the month of love. This sucker loves all the schmaltzy Valentine's hype. Menlyn Park Shopping Centre went all out with an unforgettable Valentine's Day experience for 100 lucky couples, with dinner and The Muses entertaining at Hard Rock Café on February 14th.

Even though we had to drive through torrential rains, and got stuck in horrendous traffic from Johannesburg, it was an epic date night.We are fans of Hard Rock Café. We celebrated an important birthday at Hard Rock Café in San Antonio in 2015. We also did the same at Hard Rock Café in Johannesburg in 2017. That's why I had to say yes to the invite. Hard Rock Café Pretoria last Thursday did not disappoint, and the evening started with the best tasting mojito ever. I kid you not! It totally gets my vote for the best ever!

Hubby and I had the best burgers, and they made one of the most scrumptious veg burgers made from cauliflower I have every tasted. The cauliflower patty was seasoned to perfection! Well done, Hard Rock Café!

The Muses

The entertainment was excellent and The Muses was on fire! The Muses specializes in electric pop music. We listened to tracks from Pop on String Vol 1, 2 & 3, Passing Time, Celtic Hillbilly Soul, and their most recent 2018 release Four. The band has been around since 2006 and they are still smoking hot and vibey! You go, girls!

I know we will have to go back to make sure that Hard Rock Café has indeed the best mojitos?  Also, that cauliflower burger deserves a second/third try. We also still need to get a Hard Rock Pretoria t-shirt for the eldest. That's a total thing!

The parent guilt has somewhat subsided since last week, and this week we are only reminded of the good times with that special person. Miss Fine did not do well in her maths (*face palm*), but there will be other math tests...
