Vampirina Party recipe - Chef Remy's bread bones and Pea dip

Vampirina figurines as part of table decorations
Vampirina Party
We got a Disney Vampirina party bag as a reminder of the new episodes of Vampirina on Disney Junior. Have you seen them yet? It's all about friendship, respect, tolerance and finding your place in the world.

The Vampirina Party bag came with a few party suggestions, and we decided to make Chef Remy's Bread Bones and Pea Dip as a party snack for guests on Saturday. It was also a great way to take a breather from the mid-year exams.

It's an easy recipe, and the kids will love helping make the bread bones. We did our own take on it, but we are posting the original recipe at the bottom.

Making Vampirina party bread bones

Ingredients

  • 1 kg bread dough
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • Grated Parmesan cheese
  • 150 g frozen peas
  • 3 tbsp olive oil
  • Juice of 1 lemon

Method

  • Roll out dough and make bread bones. In the end we just cut long strips of dough. Also use cookie shaped cutters. We had Vampirina bat shaped cutters which are really cute.
  • Husband barbecued them on foil on the grill for about 10 minutes.
  • Cook the frozen peas in the microwave for 2 minutes.
  • Combine the peas with the olive oil and lemon.
  • Use the blender to get a good mix.
