Meet Jessie from Toy Story

The school has a Book Buddy Day today, and they are allowed to dress as their favourite book characters.

Little Miss first wanted me to buy her a Princess Sophia outfit, but I told her that it is too expensive! We should think of something that we can put together at home. (I also believe it is much more fun if you are able to put something together with what you have already!)

Yesterday she threw a fit in the car, and I told her that if she continues to cry about an outfit, I would not help her in any way any more. She immediately stopped her crying, and went to sleep in the car.

When she woke up she had the idea of a cowgirl!
She's growing up! (Yes! It happens!)

She told me this morning she wanted to be Princess Sophia, and then she wanted to be Tinkerbell, but now she is Jessie, and that's okay. She likes it!

Dad had to help with folding the rope into a cowboy's lasso.
(Thank you YouTube! AND Dad!)

Spidergirl ready to save the world... or pushing the go-cart

Little Missy's school has a fundraising effort today with go-carts and theme dressing for each class. She is part of the Super Hero team!
This is the best we could come up with to look like Spidergirl.
There is a red t-shirt underneath.

Free-flying hair!

Without the mask: spider-face
She was feeling a bit exposed today when we arrived at school, because everybody was looking and commenting.

The mask did not stay on!

And this is the Super Heroes!

Evidently Spidergirl turned into Supergirl because her cape got torn!

Children's party at Granny's Garden

Little Missy was invited to a party at Granny's Garden.

It is the perfect venue for a party. They have inside and outside entertainment for the children. The entire house has been transformed into a children's paradise.

The indoor play area consists of a Sand Room, Computer Room, Dress up Room, Fantasy Room, Nintendo Wii, Beach Sand Room, Arts & Crafts and Pottery Painting.

Dress Up Room
Bunnies
Snow White

The outdoor play area has the following on offer: Zip Line Slide, Bike Track, Trampoline, Play House, Jungle Gym, Modular Play Area and swings.

The zip line slide was the most popular with every one sliding again and again...

The best of course was having a nice cup of coffee while other people were busy running around after the children...
Definitely a parent's paradise!

Tinkerbell practise

The perfect dress for the upcoming birthday!!

It is more than two months away, but the promises or threats are being made!
"You can come to my party!"
"Mom/Dad, you won't be allowed to come to my party!"

Her elder sister saw it at A-C-Kermans and bought it, as she knew it is perfect for the party!

It is the last day at pre-primary school before the holidays and the teacher said they could wear their dresses!

She is also wearing her princess shoes, which she kept on through the night. Luckily I could convince her to only put the dress on this morning...

Happy weekend and holidays!

Where are you going?
(We are not going anywhere *jealous*)

The best present ever from Father Christmas

We thought that this year would be different. She is nearly 3 and the promise of a Father Christmas with presents made her very excited before the time...

But when the Toddler's name was called, she refused and screamed again! (I did not even get a photo with her near Father Christmas, because she was clinging to me and pulling me in the other direction!)

Shame, even Father Christmas asked me if it's the beard...

Maybe next year?

But she loves her present from Father Christmas. It is the perfect gift for a little princess!
The Toddler has been walking around all weekend with the dress-up shoes and her tiara.
