Finally, a Tinker Bell Party!

We pulled off a Tinker Bell Party with only a few friends.

Most of her friends are away on holiday already. (The problem of having a birthday so late in December...)

5 party packs with 5 fairy wands, and chocolate cupcakes with pink sprinkles!

That's all that was needed to have a Tinker Bell Fairy who loved feeling special for the day!

Party before the party

The upcoming birthday Birthday Girl

Proof! I promised that I would take party packs to school (One month to the big 4).

The Toddler was more concerned about "letters" that I should give to her. I think she wants to hand out invitations to her "real" party.
It seems it doesn't help to explain that she will be having her birthday when all her friends are on holiday. (*Shame!*)

I hoped the special fuss at school helped a little bit.

We took cupcakes with a candle and party packs for all the children in her class.
The crowns were made in class. I think the other girls with crowns are also December birthday girls. There are quite a number of them in her class!

Toddler take on the Tinker Bell movie

Toddler face watching Tinker Bell and the Secret of the Wings
We had to take the Toddler to see the latest Tinker Bell and the Secret of the Wings at the movies.
Even a mom with a very busy boy told us that her son enjoyed the movie very much, and that we should  do our utmost to go and see the film.

Hubby says he would not have believed it that his only movie experience now is in the domain of fairies, but that's what you do when you have a toddler.

She has a Tinkerbell fascination, and she is promising us a wonderful Tinkerbell party!
(*Uh-Oh!*)

I asked the Toddler afterwards what she thought of the movie:

- She was a bit sad during the movie, especially when Tinker Bell got a broken wing.
- She did not like Periwinkle, Tinker Bell's sister.
- Why not?
   She does not look beautiful!
She does not like her short hair.
She does not like her white hair.

She watched the whole time, even while climbing the stairs.... (We had the cinema to ourselves last night.)

She did not keep on the 3D glasses for the duration of the whole movie, but longer than the previous movie experience.

Disney, you did a great job! Again!
Even Mom and Dad enjoyed the 77 minutes of fairies!

Tinkerbell practise

The perfect dress for the upcoming birthday!!

It is more than two months away, but the promises or threats are being made!
"You can come to my party!"
"Mom/Dad, you won't be allowed to come to my party!"

Her elder sister saw it at A-C-Kermans and bought it, as she knew it is perfect for the party!

It is the last day at pre-primary school before the holidays and the teacher said they could wear their dresses!

She is also wearing her princess shoes, which she kept on through the night. Luckily I could convince her to only put the dress on this morning...

Happy weekend and holidays!

Where are you going?
(We are not going anywhere *jealous*)
