Johannesburg International Mozart Festival to give resonance to Beethoven’s concept of unity

It is a special time of the year when it is the Johannesburg International Mozart Festival. The Mozart Festival has so much to offer families, whether you have a passion for classical music, or want to bring the joy to your children as well. We have been going for the past 2 years, and we have received tickets for the upcoming Chamber Music Orchestra with the Buskaid Soweto String Ensemble.
See details below on how two families can also win tickets for this Saturday's Show.

The JIMF  runs from 25 January to 2 February 2020.

JIMF 2019 kicked off with a Viennese New Year Concert

Johannesburg International Mozart Festival 2019 programme
The Johannesburg International Mozart Festival kicked off this past weekend with Viennese New Year at the Linder Auditorium. The programme runs until 3 February, and seeing the booked-out shows already, it is better to book earlier this year.

The Viennese New Year Concert has become a fixture on the Joburg Cultural Calendar in recent years. It is a feel-good programme celebrating the arrival of the New Year, and setting us up for a season of brilliant concerts.

In keeping with the theme of Ein Musikalischer Spass, this programme covers all manner of Jo(c)key subject matter, and explores what happens when composers have Fun(iculi) with their music.

Win tickets to the Mozart Festival - for the whole family

#JIMF2018
#JIMF2018
The upcoming Johannesburg International Mozart Festival, in it's 10th year, is a musical smorgasbord for the whole family. It will be running from 26 January until 4 February. The Mozart Festival combines classical music concerts of the highest international standards with vital education initiatives and community engagement projects.

There is no better way to introduce our kids to classical music, than this opportunity. We like the fact that some of the events are for free, and some asking only for a donation.  Two readers of this blog can also win family tickets (4 members each) to attend the family concert on 4 February.
